( 7 ) Adjusting the duplex forwarding amount
Adjust the duplex forwarding solenoid on time when paper misfeeds frequently during
refeed from the duplex unit.

Procedure

Is the paper forwarding

amount correct?

No

Yes

Yes

Does another duplex

paper time adjustment

perform?

No

The copier enters ready mode.

The new setting is stored.

* Mode No.2: duplex paper time adjustment

(first paper)

Mode No.3: duplex paper time adjustment

(after second paper)

Select the mode No. with the ex-
posure adjustment keys.

Remove the paper and reinstall
the duplex unit.

* Setting range: 0~400

Reference: 100
Changing the value by one chang-
es the forwarding amount by one
ms (duplex forwarding solenoid on
time)

* Increasing the setting makes the

forwarding amount larger, decreas-
ing the setting makes the amount
smaller.

Change the setting using the zoom
key.

After the paper is stocked in the
duplex unit, draw out the unit and
check the condition of the paper
stock.

Press the interrupt key. (Duplex
copy mode is automatically select-
ed.)

Press the print key.

Enter 18 with the numeric keys.

Enter simulation mode.

Press the print key.

Start

A

Press the print key to make a test
copy.
