9. - Instructions for work

Seed Drill

9.3.1 Coulter bar adjustment

Seeding depth must be matched to the type of seed,
the soil and conditions in the seed bed.

The rachet pin at the level of the paralellogram is
used to adjust the height of the coulter bar and the
depth control.

- Set both sides of the machine in the same way.
- Pivot the lock plate (1) upwards.
- Position the latch (2) to the left or right to unlock

the pin (3).

The range of letters A-I (4) allowing to display the
seeding depth is located on the machine frame.

- Rotate ratchet pin in the direction I to increase the

seeding depth.

- Rotate ratchet pin in the direction A to reduce the

seeding depth.

Check the seed deposit depth.

For a deep sowing depth, increase the ground
pressure on the seeding units.

Readjust if necessary.
