Replace the filter cartridge
- Clean bowl of filter (4) and filter head (5) in the thread
area, and check that there is no mechanical damage.
- Check condition of the seals. Replace them if
necessary.
- Reinstall bowl of filter (4) using the wrench until stop
is reached and loosen by a quarter turn.
- Clean and tighten the drain plugs (2) and (3) and their
seals. Replace them if necessary.
- Pour the recommended oil quantity and quality
through the opening of fill/dipstick plug (1).
Indicator (1) can stick out when the oil is cold and
when there are pressure peaks although the filter
is not yet clogged
- Push the indicator inside when the operating
temperature is reached.
- If the indicator sticks out again, replace the
filtering unit.
- Check the oil level on the gauge and tighten the
plug (1).
• Maximum level: (5).
• Minimum level : (6).
- Clean and reinstall dipstick plug (1).
