11.4 Maintenance

11.4.1 Checking that the cover is locked

Before leaving the tractor or before
adjusting, maintaining or repairing the
machine, disengage the PTO drive, turn off
the engine, remove ignition key and wait until
all moving parts have come to a complete
stop and apply park brake.

Immediately replace worn or damaged parts with
genuine KUHN parts.

Before transport, always check that the
hopper cover is correctly locked. Otherwise
the cover may open unexpectedly and cause
injury or property damage.

• Check the transport lock setting.

Prerequisite: Lever (1) is in stop position.

- Check the position of hook (2).

• The hook (1) must engage behind the shaft (3).

- When the cover does not close properly, loosen

the nut M6 (4).

- Tighten or loosen the threaded rod (5) until the

hook (2) presses against the shaft (3).

- Tigthen nut (4).
