Solution
There is a burnt smell
during the baking process,
or smoke is coming from
the ventilation openings.
Ingredients got onto the
heating element.
Switch the unit off by
unplugging the power cord
plug from the socket. During
the mixing process, a small
amount of flour, or some
raisins, may have ended up
in the process chamber. Re-
move these as soon as the
machine has cooled down.
The bread is stuck in the
baking tin.
The bottom part of the
bread is stuck to the
kneading paddle(s).
Grease the paddles with
butter or oil before assembly.
The bread structure is not
homogeneous.
Accidental pressing of
the START/STOP button
during the operation
process.
Load all ingredients again
and start the baking
process from the very
beginning
Frequent opening of the
lid during operation.
Do not open the lid during
operation.
The paddles' movement
is blocked.
Take the tin out and check
if the spindle is rotating. If it
isn't, call for service.
The kneading paddles
always get stuck in the
bread.
Put the hook inside the bottom end of the kneading
blade that has come off. Once the blade is caught on
the hook, slide it gently out of the bread. Remove it
carefully so you do not tear the bread. For next use,
grease the paddles with butter or oil before assembly.
The dough is too stiff.
Some types of flour absorb
more water than others, try
using 10-20mL extra water
next time.
Crusts are piling up
underneath the kneading
paddles.
Clean the kneading paddles
after every use and grease
them before use.
