10.1 Removing the manifold
Warning
Danger of burns The exhaust system gets very hot when the vehicle is driven.
–
Allow the exhaust system to cool down. Do not touch hot components.
Preparatory work
–
Remove the seat. ( p. 62)
–
Take off the side cover. ( p. 63)

Remove cable binders

Push the cable to the right. Unplug connector

of the lambda sensor.
–
Feed out the cable of the lambda sensor.

Remove screws

Remove the heat guard.

Remove nuts

Info
Do not misplace the spacer.

Loosen screw

Take off the manifold.

Main work

Position the manifold with the seals.

Position the spacer.

Mount and tighten nuts
