MAC Notification

MAC address notification is used to monitor MAC addresses as they are learned and entered into the
Switch

s MAC forwarding database.

MAC Notification Global Settings

MAC Notification Global Settings window

The following parameters can be set:

State

This drop-down menu is used to enable or disable MAC notification on the

selected Switch.

Interval (sec)

The time in seconds between notifications.

History size

The maximum number of entries that will be listed in the History log. Up to 500

entries can be specified.
