System tab
On the System tab, information and settings concerning the system config-
uration of this machine are displayed.

Reminder
Only text files can be read when importing and exporting.
If the settings are cleared by selecting “Network Setting Clear”, you will
not be able to connect to this machine until the settings are specified
again.
Menus Description
Date/Time Manual Setting Type in the date and time to specify them.
NTP Setting Specify whether the date and time can be set through pas-
sive acquisition from the NTP server.
Administrator Password Change the administrator password.
Device Information Specify the device name and location and the name of the
administrator.
Online Assistance Specify the support information for this machine. To dis-
play this information, click the System tab in User mode,
and then click “Online Assistance”.
Import/Export Information from this machine can be saved as a file (ex-
ported) or information can be written to this machine (im-
ported).
Mainte-
nance Network Setting
Clear The machine’s network settings can be reset to those
specified when the machine was shipped from the factory.
Reset Resets the printer controller.
Format All Destina-
tion Clears all registered destinations.
E-Mail Alert Specify that an e-mail is sent to the registrant when an error
occurs in this machine.
Network TWAIN This item is not available with this machine.
