To specify the following options, right-click the printer icon in the Printers
window, and then click “Properties” or “Printing Preferences” in the menu
that appeared.
Item Function
Resolution Specifies the print resolution.
Color Control Specifies whether to adjust the color to that on the screen.
Halftone Specifies the halftone number of lines and the pattern angle.
Other Prints a negative or mirror image.
Magnification Specifies the enlargement and reduction ratio.
Item Function
Collated Specifies whether to print multiple copies in sets.
Offset When printing multiple copies, shifts the output position of each set.
Binding Position Specifies the binding position.
Duplex Specifies double-sided printing.
Special Mode Specifies booklet printing.
Staple Performs stapling.
Hole Punch Performs hole punching.
Fold Performs folding.
Front Cover Attaches a front cover page.
Front Cover Tray Selects the paper tray for the front cover.
Back Cover Attaches a back cover page.
Back Cover Tray Selects the paper tray for the back cover.
OHP Interleaving Inserts interleaves between overhead projector transparencies.
OHP Interleaving Tray Selects the paper tray for the transparency interleaves.
Stop Temporarily stops printing after part of the document has been print-
ed so that the proof print can be checked.
Color Selection Specifies whether to print in color or grayscale.
Gloss Mode Prints using a glossy finish.
Original Document Type Prints with a quality suitable for the original document.
Color Matching (Text) Adjusts the color quality of the text in a document.
Grayscale (Text) Specifies whether to print the text in a document in grayscale.
Screening (Text) Specifies screening of the text in a document.
Color Matching (Photo) Adjusts the color quality of photos in a document.
