Uninstalling the printer driver
If it becomes necessary to delete the printer driver, for example, when you
want to reinstall the printer driver, follow the procedure below to delete the
driver.

Reminder
Quit all running applications that may have started when the Macintosh
computer was turned on.
For Mac OS X

Open Print Center or Printer Setup Utility, located in Hard Disk\Appli-
cations\Utilities.

Select the name of the printer to be deleted, and then click the [Delete]
button.
The selected printer is deleted.

Close the printer list.

Drag the following file, which is located at Hard Disk\Library\Print-
ers\PPDs\Contents\Resources\xx.lproj, to the “Trash” icon. (“xx” in
“xx.lproj” is a language abbreviation. Select the folder corresponding
to the language being used.)

Delete the unnecessary files from Library\Printers.
For Mac OS 10.3, drag the “pstokmc450” file, which is located in Li-
brary\Printer\KONICAMINOLTA\filter, and the following four files,
which are located at Library\Printer\PDEs, to the “Trash” icon.
– KONICAMINOLTAC450\KONICAMINOLTA\Finishing.plugin
– KONICAMINOLTAC450\KONICAMINOLTA\ImageLayout.plugin
– KONICAMINOLTAC450\KONICAMINOLTA\ Security.plugin
– KONICAMINOLTAC450\KONICAMINOLTA\Setup.plugin
– KONICAMINOLTA
For Mac OS 10.2, drag the following folders, which are located in
Library\Printers\PPD Plugins, to the “Trash” icon.
– KONICAMINOLTAC450 Finishing.plugin
– KONICAMINOLTAC450 ImageLayout.plugin
– KONICAMINOLTAC450 Security.plugin
– KONICAMINOLTAC450 Setup.plugin
