[2] Paper Feed Roller Load Adjustment

(7085 main body tray only)

Caution:

This adjustment is required when no
feed of paper occurs.

• Screwdriver (Phillips)

Paper feed roller load adjustment on trays
1, 2, 3

Screws

Weight plate

Step

Operation

Pull out the tray.

2

Use two screws to install the weight plate
on top of the paper feed holder plate.

Chek the pick-up release amount. See
[7] Pick-up Release Amount Adjustment.

4

Set the tray and run a test copy to check
the paper feed status.

5

When "no feed" is not solved, add more
weight plates and repeat steps 1 to 4.

Caution:

Up to 6 weight plates (P/N:56GA4242*)
can be installed. The M3 x 6 mm screws
must be used to install up to three weight
plates, and the M3 x 8 mm screws must
be used when four to six plates are
installed.

Open the top cover.

Remove the spring.

3

Use two screws to install the weight plate
on top of the paper feed roller.

Chek the pick-up release amount. See
[7] Pick-up Release Amount Adjustment.

After installing the spring and closing the
top cover, run a test copy to check the
paper feed status.

6

When "no feed" is not solved, add more
weight plates and repeat steps 1 to 5.

Caution:

Up to 6 weight plates (P/N:13FG4062*)
can be installed. The M3 x 6 mm screws
must be used to install up to three weight
plates, and the M3 x 8 mm screws must
be used when four to six plates are in-
stalled.
