[7] Replacing the Pre-registration MC3

(MC8) and the Feed MC3 (MC7)

a.

Procedure

(1) Draw out paper tray 3.
(2) Remove the four screws to detach the paper

conveyance cover.

(3) Disconnect the two connectors (CN278, CN277).
(4) Remove the retaining ring to detach the pre-

registration MC3 (MC8) and the feed MC3 (MC7).

(5) Reinstall the above parts following the removal

steps in reverse.

Caution:

When reinstalling each MC, fit the
detent in the slit in the MC.

Down Unit

a. Procedure

(1) Draw out paper feed tray 3.
(2) Remove the front cover of the tray.
(3) Disconnect the connector (CN281).
(4) Remove the two screws to detach the up/down

unit.

(5) Reinstall the above parts following the removal

steps in reverse.
