1.

Set the work equipment in the position shown in the figure,
then stop the engine and set the lock lever to LOCK posi-
tion (L).
A: Arm
B: Bucket

2.

Measure the amount of play "a".

REMARK

Measurement is easier if you move the bucket to one side
so that all the play can be measured at one place (the left
side in the figure).
Use a clearance gauge for easy and accurate measure-
ment.

3.

If the measured play "a" is greater than 1 mm, add a new
shim to reduce the play within the permitted range
(0-1.00 mm).

4.

If the measure play "a" is lower than 1 mm, the play is
within the correct range.

5.

Remove the double nuts (1) of stopper bolts (2) at arm pin
(3) and link pin (4), then pull out the bolts.

6.

Partially pull out pins (3) and link pin (4), then add the
shims (5) needed to restore the correct play.

METHOD FOR CHECKING WINDOW WASHER FLUID LEVEL, ADDING FLUID

If the window washer fluid does not come out, check the fluid level in the window washer tank.
