Operating the MCO 25 plus 

 

WARNING

 

Danger of injury by operating errors! 

There is the danger of severe injury by laser light if the device is not used in accordance with 
these instructions for use, or if settings are changed in a manner contrary to what is 
explained in the listed instructions. Also see section 1.3 “Intended Purpose”, page 9. 
Any laser surgery device that is not being used must be protected against unauthorized use.

If the device is not being used, remove the key and store it in a safe location.

 

 

6.1

 

Switching on the Device 

CAUTION

 

All persons present in the laser room must wear laser protection goggles! Furthermore, avoid 
direct eye contact with the red pilot laser light! 

 

 

NOTICE

 

The red 

EMERGENCY STOP

 switch, see section 5.4 “Front Side”, page 29 must not be 

activated. Otherwise unlock the 

EMERGENCY STOP

 switch, see section 6.2 

“EMERGENCY STOP Switch”, page 47. 

 

 

The device is switched on and off via the key switch, see section 5.2 “Setting up the 
MCO 25 plus”, page 27.

The key can only be removed when it is in 

vertical 

position (I/OFF).
