Removal/ Replace of the particle filter

Always replace the water in the cooling system when replacing the particle filter.

Shut down the LIMAX

120 laser unit. Remove the front cover (chapter 5.1), the back cover

(chapter 5.2) and drain the cooling water (chapter 7). In addition open the

sealing plug at the top side of the laser resonator (fig 6.4), remove the particle

filter by unscrewing the cap (2,

Fig. 5.17) and then remove the filter (1). Put in the new particle filter, reconnect the
connectors and fill the water cooling unit (chapter 6).
