Instrument Memory Operation
Recording Data to Memory
Make sure that the required Text ID (project name) tag is showing. If
not, refer to
“Text ID Tag”
section.
•
To record data to internal memory in Meter or Autotest
modes, press
triangular button above “STORE”
. Data will be
stored in the next location and the Text ID Tag display will
auto-increment.
•
To change the next location pointer for storage, return to
Main menu (press button below [HOME]) and press button
above “MEMORY”
. The last memory location stored with
data will be displayed along with its Text ID Tag alternately.
Select the desired location using the
+
or
-
, hold button
above
“
MEMORY
”
then press
F2
for three seconds, or until
it stops beeping.
Note: Existing memory following the selected location will be
progressively overwritten.
Recalling Stored Data from Memory
•
To
enter Memory mode, press button above “MEMORY” at
Main menu.
•

+
or
-
to select a memory location to display data.
•
[For data saved in 2-way Autotest mode only]: As default, a
summary of losses for each direction and their averages are
displayed (see Figure 4 at the end of this section for an LCD
display sample). To change to display more detail with
absolute power, loss, reference power for each direction,
(see Figure 5 at the end of this section for an LCD display
sample) press
F3
. Press
F3
again to return to default
display.
To show nominal source power, hold down
left
rectangular
button above LCD (only when displaying absolute power,
loss, reference power).
To view absolute power, loss, reference power for other
wavelengths, press
F4
.
To view saved time and date, press and hold
Toggle
Centre
.
To exit memory mode, press button below [HOME].
•
[For data saved in 1-way Autotest mode only]: As default,
absolute power will be displayed in dBm along with loss (dB)
and reference power (dBm), see Figure 6 at the end of this
section for an LCD display sample. To change to display
absolute power in watt also, press
F3
. Press
F3
again will
return to default display.
To show nominal source power, hold down
left
rectangular
button above LCD.
To view saved time and date, press and hold
Toggle
Centre
.
To exit memory mode, press button below [HOME].
