Connecting PFX2512s through a switching hub (when using multiple
PFX2512s)
If you will use multiple PFX2512s, use LAN cables to connect them to the PC through a switching
hub.

Configuring PC settings (IP address)
You have to set the IP address and subnet mask on the PC that you are using to values that match
this product's IP address range. If the PC's IP address and subnet mask are not set correctly, you will
not be able to connect to the PFX2512.
In the factory default settings, a value in the range of 192.168.1.101 to 192.168.1.107 (the value
varies depending on the channel number setting) is assigned to the PFX2512 IP address.

On Windows XP, on the taskbar, click Start, Control Panel, and then Network
Connections.
On Windows 7, on the taskbar, click Start, Control Panel, and then View
network status and tasks under Network and Internet.

Click the Local Area Connection property.

On Windows XP, select the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) check box, and then click
Properties.
On Windows 7, select the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) check box,
and then click Properties.

Click Use the following IP address.

Enter the IP address and subnet mask.
If you want to connect to a PFX2512 that has the IP address in the factory default
settings, set the IP address to 192.168.1.10 and the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0.
