Before Running the PEMG Software

Prior to running the PEMG software, you must have Keysight’s Advanced Design 
System (ADS) Simulation software installed on your system. For detailed 
information, click here: 

www.keysight.com/find/eda 

then click 

Advanced Design 

System (ADS)

To open the Environment Variables window, type “

Environment Variables

” in the 

Windows Search Field. In the 

Advanced

 tab, select the 

Environment Variables

 

button.

Click the 

New...

 button.

Enter “

ADS_DIR

” as the 

Variable name.

Enter the path name where the Keysight ADS was installed as the 

Variable 

value

Click 

OK

 twice to exit the Environment Variables setup dialog.

You must also set an environment variable named “

ADS_DIR

” at the 

Windows System Environment level with the path to the ADS 

installation. Note: your ADS installation path may be different 

than that shown below.
