Formatting
When a partitioned USB storage medium is formatted, all the data saved on
the storage medium, and all the partitions, are deleted and the entire hard
disk is formatted with a single “FAT32” partition. The storage capacity of the
USB storage medium to be formatted must not exceed two terabytes.
Use the
@
buttons to switch to the “Formatting” line. Pressing the button starts the formatting.
The following display appears:
Confi rm with the button. The formatting is being performed. On completion of the formatting the
receiver restarts and you can use the external USB storage medium for recording with the UFS 903.
Check
Use the
@
buttons to switch to the “Check” line. Pressing the button starts the checking.
The following display appears:
Confi rm with the button. The checking is performed and any error are corrected by the receiver.
On completion of the checking the receiver restarts and you can use the external USB storage medium
for recording with the UFS 903.
Checking may take a few
minutes.
Formatting may take a
few minutes.
