Working with quarantined mail
message objects.
Bases/Quarantine (mail)
In order to work with the mail message quarantine database use the
Quarantine
(mail)
hyperlink located in the
Bases
section of the left frame of the configuration
database window (see Figure 9). A click on this hyperlink will refresh the right
frame of the window and display the list of mail message objects retained during
scanning (see Figure 27).

The right frame of the window is a table containing the following information:
•
Sender
– The address of the sender of the retained mail message object.
•
Recipients
– The address of the recipient of the mail message object.
•
Subject
– The subject of the mail message.
•
Open
– A hyperlink that can be used to open the mail message in a
separate window (see Figure 28).
•
Delete
– A hyperlink that can be used to delete the document.
Any message object stored in the quarantine database represents a document
containing an infected object and the results of the scan:
The parameters of program actions that will be shown in the document
depend on the check-up mark settings.
•
Temporary name
– The temporary file name under which the object is
stored in the quarantine database.
•
Name
– The initial name of the scanned object.
•
Type
– The type of scanned object (an attached file, an OLE-object etc.).
