After the rights for work with Kaspersky Anti-Virus
®
for Lotus Notes/Domino have
been set, you can open and work with any base by double-clicking on its
shortcut.
You can open the check-up and the quarantine databases either from the
workspace of Kaspersky Anti-Virus
®
for Lotus Notes/Domino or from the
configuration database (see sections 8.1-8.2 on pages 57-58). The report
database can be opened from the configuration database (see section 8.3 on
page 63).
The procedure of working with the quarantine and the check-up database is the
same, irrespective of the way they have been opened. This document describes
how to work with these databases from the configuration database.
4.3.
Configuration database
interface
In order to open the configuration database, do the following:
Left-click on the configuration database shortcut.
This will open the configuration database window divided into two frames (see
Figure 9).
The left frame contains the following sections:

Settings
– Operating parameters of the program.
•
Kernel
– List of the program’s responses made during document and
message scanning, and processing parameters of infected, suspicious,
corrupted, and disinfected objects by the Monitor and the Scanner
modules.
•
Bases
– List of documents enqueued for scanning (check-up database)
and the quarantine databases containing messages and documents.
•
Reports
– All the records generated during the program’s work grouped
by generation date, type of information, and the module (report database
log).
•
Help
– General information about the program, help system.
The right frame updates when a selection is made in the left one.
