KANDI-authorized service station before the winter comes, and
charge it when necessary.
Warning !
Know-how is required for all the operations on the battery!
Please allow KANDI-authorized service station or professional
maintenance shop to perform the operations related to
battery, otherwise there is a risk of corrosion and explosion.
Do not open the battery! Do not attempt to change the liquid
level. Doing so may cause explosive gas overflow from the
battery, which may result in explosion.
Instruction
The battery should be removed and placed at a place that will never
freeze, so as to prevent the battery from being damaged by "freezing”
if you intend to have the vehicle parked for several weeks in
extremely cold days.
Warning Instructions During Battery Operation
Know-how is required for all the operations on the battery!
The car battery is located in the motor compartment.
Warning !
There may be the risk of injury, corrosion, accident and fire
when working on the battery and electronic devices.
Wear protective glasses. Do not allow electrolyte or lead-based
particles to come into contact with eyes, skin or clothing.
Battery electrolyte is highly corrosive. Wear protective gloves
and goggles. Do not turn over the battery, otherwise the
electrolyte may run out of the exhaust vent. Rinse eyes with
fresh water for a few minutes immediately after the electrolyte
is splashed into them and seek medical care immediately. Any
electrolyte splashed onto skin or clothing should be
immediately neutralized with soapy liquid and rinsed with
plenty of water. If you swallowed the electrolyte, seek medical
care immediately.
No open flame, electric spark, uncovered lights, and no
smoking. Avoid using cables and electrical appliances and
electric sparks caused by electrostatic discharge. Do not
short-circuit the battery terminal. There is a danger of injury
from high-energy electric sparks.
The battery will produce a highly explosive gas mixture
during charging. Battery charging should be carried out in a
well-ventilated space.
Keep electrolyte and battery away from children.
Turn off all electrical appliances before handling all electronic
devices. Pull out the ignition key. Disconnect the negative
cable from the battery. When replacing incandescent bulbs,
turn off the lights.
Turn off the anti-theft alarm device before disconnecting the
battery. Failure to do so may trigger the alarm.
To disconnect battery cable from the vehicle power, first
remove the negative cable, and then the positive cable.
When reconnecting the battery, turn off all electrical
appliances. Connect the positive cable first, then the negative
cable. Never have the cable reversely connected, otherwise
there will be a risk of fire.
Do not charge frozen or melted battery, otherwise there is a
risk of explosion and injury. The battery should be replaced
with a new one whenever it freezes. An excessively low battery
may freeze when the temperature is around 0 °C.
Please note that the exhaust hose must always be secured to
