Charging Method
Two methods Description
The following two common methods can be used to charge the
vehicle.
−
Using civil (110V/220V) power supply equipment to
charge electric vehicles
①
Park the vehicle reliably and appropriately away from the
power supply, and take out the common charging cable
assembly and insert the standard plug into the corresponding
standard socket of the power supply equipment.
②
Open the charging plug cap, insert the charging plug into the
charging socket of the charging port of the vehicle to be
charged, and the mechanical locking hook of the charging
plug enters the corresponding slot of the socket to lock the
charging plug to prevent its accidental falling off from the
charging socket.
③
When the charging cable is connected, observe the indicator
on the instrument panel. If the charging indicator is on, it
indicates that the vehicle has entered the charging state. If
not, check whether the charging cable assembly is
connected reliably. If necessary, you can contact the
after-sales service team for vehicle maintenance.
④
When the charging is completed or needs to be terminated,
remove the standard plug from the socket of the power
supply equipment.
⑤
Press and hold the button on the charging plug to disengage
the mechanical locking hook from the corresponding slot,
slowly pull the charging plug out of the socket and cover the
charging plug.
⑥
Collect the charging cable assembly and place it in the
appropriate position in the car.
⑦
Cover the charging port socket and close the cover of the
charging port with the car key.
Instruction
Notice: When the charging cable is connected, observe the
indicator on the instrument panel. If the charging indicator is on, it
indicates that the vehicle has entered the charging state. If not,
check whether the charging cable assembly is connected reliably.
If necessary, you can contact the after-sales service Benchmarking
for vehicle maintenance.
Suggestion
We recommend that you install a main switch in the charging line
of electric vehicle using civil power supply equipment, so that you
can disconnect the main switch first and then plug and unplug the
charging plug in an emergency.
