Operation Instruction
When the vehicle is in a severe environment, the following steps
can be used for self-rescue and rescue.
①
First of all, you should check whether the winch is in good
condition to start working. When using the winch for the first
time or after replacing the wire rope for winch, coat the wire
rope with specific lubricant.
②
Release the winch clutch (pull to OUT position with any lever
equipment), pull out the wire rope and remain at least 4 coils of
wire on winch rotary drum usually to prevent wire rope from
slipping from wheel drum. Wire ropes are marked red in front
of this position. Do not pull wire ropes beyond this mark.
③
Fasten the winch securely to a fixture (or vehicle) capable of
withstanding the electric winch load.
④
Connect the clutch (any shift lever equipment is shifted to the
IN position).
⑤
Connect the operating handle joint and operate the winch
according to indication on handle button and actual operating
condition of winch to start the emergency work.
Warning !
When working on the winch, the clutch handle must be in a
suction state to prevent semi-suction.
For winch products, never use them to lift or carry people:
When the winch is operating, keep a certain distance from the
site, never touch the wire rope and guide rope with your
hands when the winch is operating, in order to avoid injury.
Check the operating environment. Do not use electric winch in
wet place. Do not expose the electric winch to rain water
without clearly marking the waterproofing function of the
product. Make sure that the brightness is adequate in working
site. When the winch works, its working area should be clearly
marked. Do not use electric winch in the presence of
flammable or explosive liquids or gases.
The operator should keep awake and away from loads. Keep
wire rope clean and do not operate it when pulling. Remain at
least 5 coils of wire rope on rotary drum.
Never use electric winch to lift or move people, nor to use the
winch to vertically lift heavy objects. Generally, the electric
winch is only suitable for traction on the ground.
Never allow children to enter the working area of electric
winch. Never allow children to come into contact with the
electric winch, tools or wire ropes, switches, wires and other
accessories.
When the winch is not in use, place and lock the winch,
accessories and tools in a dry place to avoid rust to make them
away from children. Do not plug the wire switch into its
socket, put it away and keep it clean and dry at all times.
Estimate the load of winch before operation. Do not overload
the winch. The type of winch equipped with the vehicle is
EWS15000, with a rating pull of 15000 LBS (66.7kN), and the
winch should operate within its capacity. Do not attempt to
increase the loading capacity of winch by adding
inappropriate attachments. Do not attempt to use low-power
winches or additional devices to do work that should be
performed by high-power winches.
When operating the winch, do not wear loose clothing, jewelry
and other things that can be easily cached, so as to prevent
them from getting winding in a running wire rope or rotary
