Preparing Items To Be Sterilized

STERRAD

200 User’s Guide

♦

Provide at least 25 mm (1 inch) of space between the ceiling of the electrode
and the top of the load.

♦

Place STERRAD CycleSure

Biological Indicator (BI) or an ASP-approved

biological indicator in the chamber. Frequency of biological testing should
be at least once per day or in accordance with your facility’s policy. Review
the instructions included with the biological indicator to ensure proper use.

♦

Proceed to “Chapter 4. Day-to-Day Operation” for information on starting a
cycle.
