GETTING TO KNOW YOUR VEHICLE

The following table shows the list of countries

obtained in each country group associated with

the Mode 2 cable.

Grounding Instructions

For A Grounded, Cord Connected Product:
This product must be grounded. If it should

malfunction or break down, grounding provides

a path of least resistance for an electric current

to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product

is equipped with a cord having an equipment-

grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The

plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet

that is properly installed and grounded in

accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

Mode 2 Charging Cable Installation And

Operating Instructions

1. Insert the AC plug of the charging cable

into a 230 V AC grounded wall receptacle.

Do not use an extension cord, outlet/plug

adapter, or a worn outlet. The charging

cable will not operate safely unless it is

plugged directly into the wall receptacle.

NOTE:



The charging cable should be plugged

into a dedicated circuit, not a circuit

shared with other devices drawing elec-

tricity on the circuit.



The charge inlet will automatically lock

when the vehicle is plugged in.
