Remove the drive wheel.

Use a 1-1/8” socket and remove the drive-hub axle 
nut and lock washer.

Loosen the two set screws.

Remove the drive hub from the axle. If you need a 
puller, use J&J #1-60-A1000.

The axle should be straight and free of burrs.
Apply a dab of anti-seize to the axle (coat the area 
where the hub will cover), then slide the drive 
hub onto the axle. Install axle lock washer/nut and 
torque to 50 ft.lbs. Apply one drop of Loctite Blue to 
each set screw and install them into the drive hub; 
torque to 12 ft.lbs.

Use 1-1/4” open end 
wrench to prevent axle 
from turning.
