If the kart does not operate and you suspect 
a faulty switch, you can bypass the switch 
by using a jumper from one tab to the 
other. If the kart now functions properly, 
then the switch must be replaced. 

Coat the threads on the new switch 
lightly with pipe thread sealer. 

Remove the two wires from the tabs 
on the brake pressure switch.
