Individual tests

5.5 Power

supply

In this test the voltage between CAN_V+ and CAN_GND is measured. The meas-

uring range is given in section 10.1.
The measurement is not analyzed because the external power supply via CAN_V+

is optional.
For the measurement of the power supply, you can connect the CANcheck to the

CAN network at any point.

•

If there is a free SUB-D9 socket in the CAN network, you can connect the

CANcheck to this socket via the 1-to-1 cable.

•

If this is not the case, you can loop in the CANcheck between any CAN node
and the CAN network via the Y cable.

Please put the CAN network into operation before you measure the power sup-
ply.
Please select the menu item "Power supply" with the keys UP and DOWN and
press the OK key. Then the test result is displayed immediately.
