Secure the rotor at the end and loosen the impeller nut (right-threaded).

Remove the impeller with two screwdrivers or pry bars.

Remove shaft guard using a prying tool.

•

Be sure to align the pry bars with the impeller vanes in order to prevent damage to the
impeller.

Remove the impeller key .

Place the back pull-out assembly in a vertical position before you proceed with the disassembly.
