Additional technology
3.18.1
Overview
LVLØ offers to easily connect additional technology dependent on filtration pump status. It is useful for
special water treatment devices like Salt Chlorine Generator, UV Lamp or simply to control other contactors
for more powerful pump, etc.
LVLØ offers 4 outputs for this purpose. These has 230V AC (50/60 Hz) powered outputs combined with
1pole contactor.
3.18.1.1
1Pole Contactor iCT
iACT Schneider-Electric contactor used in LVLØ is electrically controlled switch used for direct switching of
power circuit. Contactors used are compliant with EN 61095 and CEI 1095 standards.
Unlike general-purpose relays, contactor for additional technology in LVLØ is designed to be directly
connected to high-current load devices. Continuous safety for operators by unqualified personnel is allowed
because of Class-2 insulation. Contactors in provide state indication, interference filtering and dual control
– manual and remote.
Electrical endurance of used iACT contactors is 100,000 cycles (O-C).
Contactor remote and manual operation options:
NOTE:
Remote control of contactors will override manual ON switching (remote off will turn off when
contactor switched on manually) if the contactor is not locked in I+P position.
3.18.1.2
Circuit Breaker
Circuit breaker for additional technology has a special monitoring contact. This reports only circuit breaker
trip due to malfunction. Manual turning off will not be reported as issue into the system. This is useful when
the terminals of additional technology are not connected, etc. “Additional technology” contactor and
circuit breaker is marked on LVLØ front panel with following sign:
