NOTE:
Possible installation problems:
Incorrect “Empty Tank” reports, due to “Off Angle”
echoes that do not return to the sensor. When the
sensor is mounted on the tank “off angle”, so that the
reflected beam does not return to the sensor.
Incorrect “High Liquid Level” reports, due to
obstructions in the path of the sound beam. The path
of the ultrasonic beam must be free from any
obstructions that could reflect the sound and cause a
“false echo” to return to the sensor before the echo
from the surface of the liquid. To prevent this issue,
install sensor in the middle of the tank.
Incorrect “High Liquid Level” or “Empty Tank” reports
when the tank is being filled. If the liquid entering the tank from the side intersects the sound
beam, it can either disperse the sound so that no echo returns to the sensor, or reflect the
sound and create a “false echo”. Fluid entering the tank from either the top or the side can
severely agitate the surface of the liquid. Mount the sensor in a location so that the sound beam
is not affected by incoming fluid.

Electrical connection
Water filling has a built-in circuit breaker which has “LVLØ System” sign on devices front panel. Circuit
breaker has active failure monitoring as it powers vital functions of water treatment processes.
For buffer tank operation two electrical components need to be connected:
1.
2-Way solenoid valve. Connect electromechanically operated valve with
230V AC (50/60 Hz) coil rating to “MAKE UP WATER VALVE” terminal.
Standard LVLØ output operations is Normally Open (NO). The valve is
normally disconnected from power and controlled by an electric current. L1
– 1
st
phase is connected to terminal “L” when filling with water is necessary,
the valve opens.
L – Phase (L1)
N – Neutral
PE - Ground
For detailed specification refer to
, connector position details are in section 2.2.2.
2.
Ultrasonic level sensor. Connect ultrasonic sensor with analog output
(0-10 V DC) to “ULTRASONIC LEVEL SENSOR” terminal.
+24V – Power supply output, to power the connected sensor
0-10V – Analog output of the sensor
GND – Ground (-)
For detailed specification refer to
Connector 19,
connector position details are in
section 2.2.2. Connect the provided Ultrasonic sensor according this guide:
