Chapter 17 CPU Board
P-204 to P-209 RS-422 Confi guration
These straps are used to adapt the RS-422 communication to the
host. Please refer to Chapter 18.3 for further information.
Default: No jumpers fi tted.
P-302 In 5V
This strap is used to isolate the +5V power supply from the rest
of the CPU board. The intention is to test the +5V voltage before
connecting the logic, thereby avoiding damage to the circuits due
to a faulty 5V switch.
Jumper fi tted: + 5V enabled
Jumper removed: + 5V disabled
Default: Jumper fi tted
P-604 Emitter Level for Ribbon-End Sensor
Two levels can be selected for the light intensity of the sensor’s
emitter:
Jumper fi tted: High Intensity
Jumper removed: Low Intensity
Default: N/A
P-607 Emitter Level for Label Taken Sensor (optional)
Two levels can be selected for the light intensity of the sensor’s
emitter:
Jumper fi tted: High Intensity
Jumper removed: Low Intensity
Default: N/A
Note:
The label taken sensor of the linerless cutter requires that no
jumper is fi tted on P-607. When replacing the CPU board on an
EasyCoder 501 LL with a cutter or when installing a linerless
cutter, check that no jumper is fi tted on P-607.
