Post-record time
The post-record time is set to stop recording after the scheduled time or the event.
For example, if an alarm triggered recording ends at 11:00, and the post-record time
is set as 5 seconds, the camera records until 11:00:05. The post-record time can be
configured as

4. Select a recording type from the drop-down list:
•
Schedule
: For scheduled recording.
•
Motion:
Video is recorded when the motion is detected.
•
Alarm
(Desktop cameras only):
Video is recorded when the alarm is triggered
via the external alarm input.
•
Motion | Alarm
(Desktop cameras only): Video is recorded when the external
alarm is triggered or motion is detected.
•
Motion & Alarm
(Desktop cameras only):
Video is recorded when motion
and
alarms are triggered at the same time.
•
Event
: Video is recorded if the configured alarms for events (cross line
detection, intrusion, audio exception detection, face detection, region entrance or
exit detection) are triggered.
5. Click and drag along the time bars or click on a time bar to configure recording
schedule times and alarm/event types.
Note:
All scheduled times are based on the 24-hour clock. Ensure that the correct
time zone and daylight saving time settings have been configured in
Configuration
>
System
>
System Settings
.
6. Click
to copy the schedule to other days by selecting the corresponding check
box next to the day.
7. Click
Save
to save changes.
Note:
If the recording type is set to a motion and/or alarm setting, an arming schedule
must also be defined in order to trigger motion detection or alarm input recording.
