Forced sequence (FS)
Possibility of defining the order in which the locks of the system open and close.
If you program option
‘ Forced sequence ’ , users have to open lock 1 before they can
open lock 2. The system is ‘ partly locked ’ (which corresponds to state ‘ locked ’ with
option FS deactivated) when lock 1 has been opened. With all locks open, the system
is
‘ unlocked ’ , not protected.
Closing order: Lock 2 closes at first, lock 1 closes afterwards. Only after lock 1 has
closed, the system is
‘ locked ’ , protected.
Default setting: ‘ forced sequence ’ off.
Lock master
Bearer of the master code of a lock, who administers the codes (PIN codes and code
cards with user identification data) of the users of the lock. Whether the lock master
can open the lock depends on the settings in the user matrix. Also see
User groups .
Manager code
Caution
The system is not protected with the ex works version of the
system manager code.
Due to security reasons, change the ex works version of the code
as soon as possible. Avoid using numbers, which might be
guessed at by people with access to your personal data. Test
entering new codes repeatedly with the safe open.
For every lock there is exactly one manager code assigned to user no. 225 (lock
manager). This code is stored in the lock and cannot be deregistered. With the
manager code of lock 1, the
‘ system lock ’ , you can modify system settings.
Therefore, this code also is called system manager code , in short system code. Ex
works the manager code for locks of VdS class 2 is ‘ 111111 ’ and for locks of class 3
it is ‘ 11111111 ’ .
Master code
Caution
The system is not protected with the ex works version of the
master code.
Due to security reasons, change the ex works version of the code
as soon as possible. Avoid using numbers, which might be
guessed at by people with access to your personal data. Test
entering new codes repeatedly with the safe open.
For every lock there is exactly one master code assigned to user no. 00 (lock master).
This code can be stored in the lock. With it, lock users can be administered. Ex works
the master code for locks of VdS class 2 is
‘ 123456 ’ and for locks of class 3 it is
‘ 12345678 ’ . Via user matrix of the optional PC software CashProtectPro, the system
manager can define whether the bearer of the master code can also open the lock.
