high, but to allow the wheel to turn freely left - right, as described at step 3. With allen key 4, 5,
6 mm or 13 mm wrench, tighten the screws / screw of the pipe. Tightening the screws will be
on the line, with the same intensity (clamp force).
-
Loosen the screw/ s that catch / s the handlebar on the pipe.
-
Adjust the handlebar to the pipe (so you create a comfortable position to use, with brake
levers and shifters, easy to use), whit allen key 4, 5 or 6 mm in case of 4 allen screws
fastening system, or 13 mm wrench in case of screw nut. Tighten the screws, in the four
screws system, will be at the time, diagonally, with the same clamping force.
Step 3: Checking the head-sets
To check the head sets you must lock the front wheel acting
the brake and print repeated back/forward movements. You
should not feel any kind of movement and hear no noise,
where the fork enters the frame. Then lift the bike so that the
rear wheel does not touch the ground and be above the front
wheel. Then pull the handlebars until the front wheel is
perpendicular to the bicycle. When you release handlebar
the front wheel must return to the bike axis with a smooth
motion without hang or lock in any position.
Step 4: Mounting the pedals
Your bike contains two pedals, one for the left (marked on the threaded axle, with letter L =
left) and one right (marked on the threaded axle with the letter R = right). The pedals are
mounted left (L) / right (R) with the 15 wrench. The pedal on the right (R) has a thread on the
right and must be rotated in clockwise and the left pedal (L) must rotate counterclockwise.
If the pedals are interchanged, the thread deteriorates. The pedals must always be tight as
they can break from the thread. Risk of falls and injury!!
