When installing the wheel back on the bike it applies the reverse process of removal. If the quick
release axis was entirely removed, it will be inserted through the hub from left to right (remember to
position correctly the two springs) and catch the nut on the threaded end by turning clockwise.
Opera
te lever 90°, turn the nut clockwise until it begins to resist, then operate the lever the remaining
90° to the end.
When fitting the wheel, if the external lever can not be closed completely because too much
resistance, do not force or leave the lever in intermediary position. Loosen the lever and
then twist the nut a little, counterclockwise rotation and try again. Repeat this until you
achieve a strong grip of the wheel.
Quick release of the seat post can be opened by turning the lever up
to 180° and then,
depending on what you have at the other end (nut, hex bolt), turn counterclockwise until obtain
the necessary space to remove the seat post (this space feels more than sees).
If you have other types of hub axis on your bike, please read the hubs manufacturer instructions
concerning the assembly and disassembly of the wheel to / from the bike.
“CLICK IN” PEDALS USE *OPTIONAL
Click in pedals are another effective way to maintain foot safely and correctly positioned over the pedal
to achieve maximum pedaling efficiency. The shoe goes on and off the pedal by a specific motion to
be practiced until becomes a reflex. Click in pedals require shoes with pads that are compatible with
the pedal model used.
Many click in pedals are made in such a way as to allow the cyclist to adjust the force necessary to
fasten and release the foot. Follow the manufacturer's advice pedals or ask your dealer how to
perform these adjustments. Use the easiest setting until movement becomes a reflex, but always
ensure that there is sufficient voltage to prevent unintentional release of the foot from the pedal.
To be able to use a click-in pedal to the full you need shoes specially designed for the pedal
system concerned and to which the pedal hooks supplied with the pedal can be affixed. Do
not use shoes that do not fasten right on the pedal.
Exercise is necessary to learn how to attach and detach the foot correctly. Until attachment and
detachment are not a reflex movement, this movement requires concentration which can distract you
and cause you to lose control and fall. Practice these movements of attachment and detachment in
places away from traffic and obstacles and be sure to follow the instructions given by pedals
manufacturer. If you do not have the manufacturer's instructions, contact him or your dealer.
