POSITIONING
Expressions of this manual, "left, right, front, rear" refer to bike travel direction.
DEFINITION OF TERMS
Authorized Dealer - refers to manufacturers agreed dealers for commissioning the bike at the date of
purchase.
Authorized Service - refers to services approved by manufacturer for after purchase interventions
(maintenance, repair, etc.).
Bar - unit for pressure measurement 1bar = 100 000 Pa
Psi - American unit for pressure measurement 1psi = 0,06897bar
Nm - unit for measure of clamping force
Chainring - the big chain ring has the most number of teeth, the small chain ring has the lesser
number of teeth.
Sprocket - the big sprocket has the most number of teeth, the small sprocket has the lesser number
of teeth.
Freewheel - is the set that contains multiple sprockets.
Cassette - hub component on which the freewheel is mount.
Correct tightening - refers to a situation in
which a screw component applies gathering all
over his head and closely with the clamping force
(Nm) indicated by the manufacturer.
Incorrect tightening - refers to a situation in
which a screw component does not apply raising
the entire surface of its head, that is applied
crooked or closely with clamping force (Nm)
indicated by the manufacturer.
