5.4 Connecting to the power supply system

NOTICE

Material damage if power supply pack has the wrong specifications or is

connected improperly

A power supply pack that has the wrong specifications or is connected improperly can

destroy the unit.

► Use a suitable power supply unit, see below.

► If the short circuit current of the power supply unit is greater than 10 A, connect a

fuse between the power supply unit and the device.

► Use power supply cables with a sufficient cross-section, see below.

The following power supply unit types are suitable:

• Output voltage with electrically safe separation

• Output voltage: 24 V DC ± 16 %

• Current rating: min. 6 A. In general, the device consumes 70 W.
