Die im Gerät entstehende Wärme muß
durch Luftzirkulation abgegeben werden.
Decken Sie die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht
mit irgendwelchen Gegenständen ab.

Stecken Sie nichts durch die Lüftungsöff-
nungen. Dies kann zu einem elektrischen
Schlag führen!
●
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb
und ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker,
wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an
der Netzleitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder ähnlichem der
Verdacht auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Lassen Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall in
einer Fachwerkstatt reparieren.

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie an der
Zuleitung aus der Steckdose.

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein
trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall
Chemikalien oder Wasser.

Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht
richtig bedient oder nicht fachgerecht
repariert, kann für eventuelle Schäden
keine Haftung übernommen werden.

Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie es
zur Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyc-
lingbetrieb.

Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Der Power Mixer PMX-70DSP ist ein semi-
professionelles 6-Kanal-Mischpult mit inte-
grierter Endstufe. Das Gerät verfügt über
einen „post“ geschalteten Aux-Ausspielweg
zum Einschleifen eines Effektgerätes und
zusätzlich über eine integrierte Effektein-
heit mit digitalem Signalprozessor (DSP).
Der Power Mixer ist als frei aufstellbares
Tischgerät ausgelegt und kann für Live-Auf-
tritte in kleineren Sälen sowie im Home-
recording-Bereich eingesetzt werden.

Gerät anschließen
Vor dem Anschließen von Geräten an den
Power Mixer bzw. vor dem Ändern beste-
hender Anschlüsse den Power Mixer und
alle anderen Audio-Geräte ausschalten.
4.1 Eingangskanäle
Die Tonquellen an die entsprechenden
Buchsen der Eingangskanäle anschließen:
a Mono-Kanäle 1 bis 4:
- Mikrofone an die XLR-Buchsen „MIC“
(11)
- Mono-Geräte mit Line-Ausgangspegel
(z. B. Effektgerät, Musikinstrument) an
die 6,3-mm-Klinkenbuchsen „LINE“ (10);
bei Anschluß eines Gerätes an die
Buchse „LINE“ wird die Mikrofonbuchse
des jeweiligen Kanals abgeschaltet
b Stereo-Kanäle 5/6 und 7/8:
- Stereo-Geräte mit Line-Ausgangspegel
(z. B. Keyboard, CD-Spieler, MiniDisk-
Recorder) oder Plattenspieler mit Ma-
gnetsystem an die Cinch-Buchsen (9):
weiße Buchse „L“ = linker Kanal,
rote Buchse „R“
= rechter Kanal
Bei Anschluß von Plattenspielern den
Masseanschluß des Plattenspielers mit
der Klemmschraube „PHONO GND“ (30)
verbinden.
4.2 Externes Effektgerät anschließen
Über den Aux-Ausspielweg und den regel-
baren Return-Eingang ist es möglich, die Si-
gnale der Eingangskanäle aus dem Power
Mixer herauszuführen, durch ein Effektgerät
(z. B. Equalizer, Kompressor) zu schleifen
und wieder in den Power Mixer zurückzu-
führen. Der Ausspielweg ist „post“ geschal-
tet, d. h. die Signale werden mit den Aux-
Reglern* (4) hinter den Kanal-Pegelreglern
(1) auf den Aux-Send-Ausgang gemischt.
1) Den Eingang des Effektgerätes an die
Mono-Ausgangsbuchse „AUX OUT“ (13)
anschließen.
2) Den Ausgang des Effektgerätes an den
Stereo-Eingang „FX RETURN“ (15) an-
schließen (bei Anschluß eines Mono-
Gerätes nur die linke Buchse „L“ ver-
wenden).
* Die Stellung der Aux-Regler bestimmt gleichzeitig
auch den Pegel, mit dem die Kanalsignale auf die in-
terne Effekteinheit gemischt werden (siehe Kap. 5.2).
4.3 Tonbandgerät anschließen
Für Tonaufnahmen den Aufnahmeeingang
eines Tonbandgeräts an die Buchsen „REC“
(19) anschließen. Der Pegel des Aufnah-
mesignals ist abhängig von der Einstellung
des Masterreglers (27).
Für die Bandwiedergabe den Wiedergabe-

1. if there is visible damage to the unit or
to the mains cable,
2. if a defect might have occurred after

for disposal.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured
in accordance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains
lead of this unit may not correspond with
the coloured markings identifying the ter-
minals in your plug, proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and
yellow must be connected to the ter-
minal in the plug which is marked with
the letter E or by the earth symbol
or
coloured green or green and yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must
be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter N or coloured
black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must
be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or coloured red.
Warning! This unit must be earthed.

Applications
The power mixer PMS-70DSP is a semi-
professional 6-channel mixer with integrated
power amplifier. The unit is equipped with an
Aux Send way (“post wiring”) for inserting an
effect unit and also with an integrated effect
unit with digital signal processor (DSP).
The power mixer is designed as a table
top unit and can be used for live perform-
ances in smaller halls and for home record-
ing applications.

Connecting the Unit
Prior to connecting units to the power mixer
or to changing existing connections, switch
off the power mixer and all other audio units.
4.1 Input channels
Connect the audio sources to the corre-
sponding jacks of the input channels:
a mono channels 1 to 4:
- microphones to the XLR jacks “MIC” (11)
- mono units with line output level (e. g.
effect unit, musical instrument) to the

is switched off
b stereo channels 5/6 and 7/8:
- stereo units with line output level (e. g.

white jack “L” = left channel
red jack “R”
= right channel
When connecting turntables, connect
the ground connection of the turntable to
the terminal “PHONO GND” (30).
4.2 Connecting an external effect unit
The Aux Send way and the adjustable Re-
turn input allow to route the signals of the
input channels out of the power mixer, to
feed them through an effect unit (e. g.
equalizer, compressor) and to return them
to the power mixer. The Send way is a
“post” way, i. e. the signals are mixed to the
Aux Send output by means of the Aux con-
trols* (4) after the channel level controls (1).
1) Connect the input of the effect unit to the
mono output jack “AUX OUT” (13).
2) Connect the output of the effect unit to
the stereo input “FX RETURN” (15)
[when connecting a mono unit only use
the left jack “L”].
* The position of the Aux controls simultaneously de-
fines the level with which the channel signals are
mixed to the internal effect unit (see chapter 5.2).
