Step 3:

Locate the wire grommets inside the firebox.

See Figure

. Directly above them will be a series of metal bridges to

install the glass panel clips. Remove the glass panel clips from

the glass panel packaging.

CAUTION

: The metal clips may have

sharp edges, handle with care.

There will be (4) glass clips.

Peel the plastic coating from each

glass panel clip before installing.

The two longest clips are

use for the LED tray assembly and the shorter glass clips will

installed in front of the LED clips. The LED clips (two longest

clips) are installed first, closest to the burner tray.

Note:

There

are two right side and two left side clips supplied.

Install the LED glass clips by sliding them down through the

metal bridges as shown in

Figure 18

. Install (1) clip on the left

and (1) clip on the right side of the inner fireplace side panel.

Note: If you are preparing a see-through fireplace you will

install a total of (8) glass clips, two for each open side. The

additional clips are supplied with the see-through conversion

kit.

Note:

If you are preparing a see-through fireplace you will

install a total of (8) glass clips, (4) on each open side.

Step 4:

After each

LED glass clip is installed, use a flat blade

screw and carefully bend the bottom tab out and upward to

lock it into position. Use a fingertip or pliers to press the tab

flat against the metal bridge to lock it into place.
