Testing The Float Switch:
A simple continuity test can be used to test both of
the float switches.
1. Disconnect power to the ice machine and disconnect
the wire connector for the float switch on the
backside of the bulkhead.
2. Attach an ohm meter lead to each float switch wires.
3. Place the float in the down position - The float switch
should read closed.
4. Place the float in the up position - The float switch
should read open.

NOTE: Make adjustments with the float while testing it
by moving the float in a circular motion while moving it
up and down to ensure there are no "dead spots"
causing inaccurate readings.
Replace float if at any time it reads open in the down
position or closed in the up position.
