DIAGNOSING ICE THICKNESS CONTROL CIRCUITRY
Ice Machine Does Not Cycle Into Harvest when Water

Contacts the Ice Thickness Control Probe

Step 1

Move the 'ICE/OFF/WASH' switch to 'OFF' and

back to 'ON' to start a new cycle. Wait until the water

starts to flow over the evaporator.

Step 2

Use a jumper wire between the (red) ice

thickness probe connector on the outside of the control

box and any cabinet ground.

Step 2 Jumper red control box

Monitoring Harvest Light

Correction

The ice machine cycles from

freeze to harvest.

The ice thickness probe is

causing the malfunction.

The machine does not

cycle into harvest.

The control board is causing the

malfunction.
