Connecting the Patient Cable and Sensor 

1. 

Connect the patient cable connector 
into the unit socket. 

 

The plug only fits in one direction and 
audibly snaps in. 

 

 

2. 

Select the required Masimo-Sensor, see 
chapter 6.6. 

 

 

3. 

Connect the sensor connector into the 
patient cable connector. The plug only 
fits in one direction and noticeably 
snaps in. 

 

NOTICE! 

Some Masimo Sensors (e.g. type DCSC) 

already have an integrated patient 

cable. In this case, the connection to a 

separated patient cable is omitted.
