Ensure that the jacket is in proper condition. If the jacket is convex, plucked, or damaged,
cut the improper part off the cable.

Procedure

Step 1

Use the diagonal pliers to cut the cable according to the required length.

Step 2

Put the cable through the boot for 100 mm at least. Ensure that the boot is installed in the correct
direction, as shown in

Use a blade or a knife to peel off 20 mm of the jacket, as shown in

Figure A-12

Arrange the four pair of wires properly according to the connection sequence of the network
cable.

Step 5

Ensure that the wires are 13 mm to 15 mm long. Cut off the extra length of the wires, arrange
the wires in the correct order, and then insert the wires into the RJ45 connector, as shown in

Figure A-13

lists the wires assigned to the network cable.
