Glossary

BLC

If you focus on an object against strong backlight, the object will be too
dark to be seen clearly. The BLC (Backlight Compensation) function
can compensate light to the object in the front to make it clear, but this
causes the over-exposure of the background where the light is strong.

White Balance

White balance can remove the unrealistic color casts. White balance is
the white rendition function of the camera to adjust the color
temperature according to the environment automatically.

Electronic Shutter

Compared with the mechanical shutter, the electronic shutter function
is realized by controlling image sensor to adjust the sensitive time.

Third Stream

Compared with main stream and sub stream, third stream is another
stream type.

Resolution

Resolution is the number of pixels that the monitor can display. It
represents the precision of the image.

H

Over Exposure

The luminance is too high and image looks white because of the
oversized iris and slow shutter.

J

Decoder

A device receives analog video signal and convert it to digital, then
compress and transmit the signal.

Control Keyboard

Keyboard is a controller which is used to control devices remotely.
