Fixing via bores
When installing the electrospindle on the machine, you can choose either of the two support
surfaces highlighted in the figures in section
3.4 “General overview and main parts” , using the
relative fixing and positioning bores.
In particular, if you choose the surface with both through and threaded fixing bores, just use all the
fixing bores of the same type.
In versions with electrical connectors and those with manual tool change, there is only one
support surface.
Fixing via grooves and brackets
To install the electrospindle on the machine, fix it in place with brackets on the side grooves; to
ensure it's correctly positioned, use the tolerated bores on the support surface (see the figures in
section
3.4 “General overview and main parts” ).
5.4.3 Threaded service holes
There are six M5 threaded bores on the electrospindle nose, for attaching any accessories that
may be needed. In versions with “fixing grooves”, there are also four M5 threaded bores on the
surface opposite the support surface (see the figures in section
3.4 “General overview and main
parts” ).
In versions with manual tool change, there are no threaded bores on the nose.
5.4.4 Tool-change system
The tool-holder magazine must position the cones with the tolerance levels shown in
the figure.
