The details in this section re

ect the IP settings that were speci

ed during installation. The HP D2D Backup

System supports DHCP for IPv4 networks and this is turned on by default.
You may need to edit the details if there is a con

ict in the IP address, or you move the host to a different

network node. Be aware that any changes you make to the network settings could affect how you

connect again to the HP D2D Backup System. For example, if you change the IP address, you must use

the new address to log in from a web browser.

To edit network settings

Click

Edit

to make the details editable.

Make the required changes and click

Update

You must now reconnect to the HP D2D Backup System using the new settings.
• If you have changed the IP address, you must use the new address to log in from a web

browser.

• You will also need to edit the iSCSI Initiator on all hosts that are connected

to the HP D2D Backup System, if you change the IP address. See also
