This section contains a list of all available local libraries. Local Libraries are the libraries that have been

con

fi

gured on this HP D2D.

•

Non-replicating library:

a library on the HP D2D Backup System whose slots have not yet

been mapped for replication. Replication and Recovering Wizards are available only with

non-replicating libraries.

•

Replication-Source library:

a library on the HP D2D Backup System with cartridges that have

been mapped for replication. You do not have to map all cartridges in a Replication-Source

Library and the Replication-Target Library does not have to contain the same number of cartridges

as the Replication-Source Library.

•

Replication-Target library:

a library on the HP D2D Backup System with slots that hold cartridges

replicated from a Replication-Source library. The option is available to recover individual

cartridges from Replication-Target libraries.
