1.
Located in the top part of the freezer compartment.
2.
Remove the top freezer shelf for ease of access to the small screw on the underside of the
icemaker (Fig. 14).
3.
Tape down the sensor emitter flap located on the left side of the freezer liner (Fig. 15).
4.
Open the ice maker flap cover fully to access the hinge pins. Push the securing lugs outwards one
at a time to release the cover (Fig. 16).
5.
Push the plastic water pipe guard up over the rubber water pipe.
6.
Slide the icemaker forward and away from its side supports. This is held be a few lugs that will click
away as you slide it out.
7.
Disconnect the wiring. The connector block is located to the right side of the icemaker; access can
be gained after removing the wiring cover/bracket that the original screw attached to.
8.
Unscrew the three underside base screws for access into the icemaker to check for location and
security of the thermistor.
9.
When replacing the icemaker; remember to put the bracket back over the wiring before sliding the
icemaker back in place, this can be tricky, allow it to flex open on the underside and raise slightly
at the top as you push the icemaker in. Push the top back down and ensure the screw hole is in
place before the final push back into position. At the same time be aware of the plastic water pipe
and guard in top right. Push the plastic guard back down once the icemaker is back in place.
